In 2014, the centenary anniversary of the outbreak of World War 1, ‘The Two Worlds of Charlie F’ began a new UK tour, preceded by a two-week run at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.
The play was first performed in January 2012 at two charity fundraising evenings at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, London. The tour, subsidised through public funding from the National Lottery via Arts Council England, supported The Royal British Legion by raising funds at each performance. The cast performed on 126 occasions and received a standing ovation for 125 shows.
